- Born in France, Troyes the excat place. start to work at 16 in a Bar 14 hours a day for £12 on good day 1% of the waiter taking I was the prep boy for 5 or 6 waiter who did not like to wait for they trays or get the wrong order. in Oct. 75 whent to Germany to do my militery service for 12 months end up to do 13 but that is a other story. We move to Grenoble well parents did and I follow near Lyon when I start my carier as chef and restaurant waiter. I was working for Novotel big hotel group when I was transfer to Coventry (not sent)to learn English (maybe i should still be there) Meet Kathleen now my wife and the rest well I am still in Uk 2 girls Deborah & Stephanie move to Hartlepool in 1985 work at the Staincliffe hotel till 1997 as General Manager and bough the York Hotel in March 97
